The award-winning 18 year old Keswick Brewing Company has got planning permission to erect an oak-framed structure to provide all year round shelter from the elements for customers in a section of their outside drinking area. This makes a lot of sense, as the Fox Tap bar is often full to capacity.

It will no doubt increase trade and secure jobs.

Objections about possible increase in noise were overruled, as the bar stops serving at 7pm, with customers leaving shortly after that.
